I didn't notcie that there wasn't a link because I always keep one window open with the Message Board in it.
I'll try to get a link somewhere in the header tonight.

Hi Stan
Is there any way possible to have links to people's player pages as we had in the previous board?
If I click on my or someone elses name it just gives you the profile on the message board.
This message board seems totally seperate from the site without them. If it would take a lot of work to do then it is probably best left as it is but if not then I think it would be a good thing.

The problem is that this board is totally separate from the site. This board is a service available from "ProBoards".
I won't be able to put links to Player Pages here. Sorry.

If you're not using your homepage slot under your profile, you could just cut and past the address from your user page on stan's to your homepage line. Of course, this only helps others and not you, but it's an option... Also your signiture line is another option... www.stansco.com/cgi-bin/nc_ppp.cgi?15945

Excellent idea Wookiee, the only problem is that everyone would have to do it themselves and some people may not bother. I'll do it though

I did it and I'm just making a check how it looks here.
It's not a big deal at all and there shouldn't be a problem for anyone to do it....

Nice job Stan. I may have to start visiting the board again. There used to be some pretty spirited and enthusiastic threads in the past.. Hey Blott! Long time no talk. I couldn't agree with you more...I changed jobs and cities and I got away from visiting the old board. Now I'm settled again and happy to see a new board. I loved the original but that last one was too complicated for me.

Okay, which one of you clowns saw fit to "Smite" down my karma? Don't you know that the Lorax represents all that is good and decent in the world of thneeds? I must say though, it's an interesting - albeit rather arbitrary - feature of this message board. Where's the oversight committee when you need it!!! Can anyone tell me about this karma thing? and its overall usefulness??

what's up with the karma people? whenever i try to exalt/smite i get logged out and it asks me to re-login even though i originally logged in for 6hrs. anyway, i re-login and try exalting/smiting someone and the story repeats.. what's going on?

I don't know why it would be doing that. I haven't had any trouble with it. Has anyone else seen that behaviour? I have my setting at "stay logged in forever". Maybe that has something to do with it???

Why not just start a new team tourney with ONLY active players that want to play?
