Hi,
Thanks for all the work launching the tournaments Savin (and Stan). Just one remark, on the netplayers tournament there's behind the 2006 tournament still the phrase 'tournament not yet started'. And I'm already four moves into the first game or so....

Hi
I would like to know what the number is for after your rating on the swiss tourney. Under round 1 I have -106.
Cheers.

Johnny5,
The number you see next to your rating (in your case -106) is a direct link to your gamne in round #1. The number 106 means that you are playing opponent 106 in round #1. If you look next to your name you will se that you are line 11 in the list. Continue down the page and you will find line 106 which is your opponent in round 1. Notice that your opponent has the number 011 next to his rating, which tells us he is playing the player on line 11 (which is you).
By the way, the "-" in front of the number means the game has started but is not yet finished. When the game ends it might say W106 which would mean you won that game, or D106 meaning it was a draw or even L106 meaning that you lost.
We use this approach because it allows us to cram a lot of information on one page in a small place (Chess Swiss tournaments have been using this system for years, so we just copied it here).

Echecmat,
Thank you for spotting that. In the rush to launch the game sI forgot to update some of the text on these pages. I have made a quick change and will make a more thorough chek later today.
Thanks.

For the amusement of others, this year I decided to enter into the Open Swiss, as well as my own category. I expect to do really well..... I'm sure you'll do fine.
