Hi there, This is my first post here but I'll get to the point. I have a Netgear Router R8000 but away from my TV and network player. The network player, Lumin, requires ethernet connection while my LG OLED does not but I need to improve internet speed for the inbuilt Netflix app. I have a 100 mbps FTH connection but Netflix app shows the speed coming in as only 1.5 mbps wirelessly hence no HDR. Now to better the overall, do I need an wireless extender or a switcher from which the ethernet wire can go into the respective devices? I do understand that I will need to connect the switcher with an ethernet connection. How will I get the wire there, I am still to figure. I must admit that most things explained layman would be better as I am quite inexperienced. Thank you in advance. I did not find the right solution from the internet References:https://www.cnet.com/forums/discussions/what-do-i-need-for-connectivity-and-better-internet-speed/ company introduction video
