Hi, So my co-worker's laptop has a problem. No audio output. It is running Windows XP Professional SP2 (2002), and in device manager, the device IDT High Definition Audio CODEC has no installed drivers. On startup, it is recognized as a new hardware, where it is prompted to install a driver. While installing the driver, some files transfer to the drivers folder, but then an error appears:- "An error occurred during the installation of the device. Any idea? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3563335/idt-high-definition-audio-codec-driver-installing.htmlproduct launch
