As you may know from following details of my Stans Netchess Challenge Trophy, would it be possible for the tournament to be recognised as an achievement within the individuals record, Ive not done a tournament for so long and unsure how to incorporate it as their is not a website as such.

Hey, you are in luck! As I previously indicated, this very site on which you are posting is a public web site--you are actually viewing a web page (not e-mail, which is a private communication medium). Furthermore, in our discussion, you gave the information needed for an Associate Tourney (e.g. identifying which of the ten players listed was your own player name, as I did not know until you pointed it out.) Now to get an officially recognized tournament, where players will be able to receive the trophy notation on their player page, please follow instructions as directed below: You have to agree to follow the following rules: - It must be free for users to participate. You can profit from advertising, but there can be no entry fees.
I strongly suggest that there be no prizes. There are many people using computers to play the games for them. - The Tournament director must identify themself, including an e-mail address for users to contact with questions. Each Tournament Director can also appoint up to 2 Co-Directors that will have ability to present awards to people that do well in the tournament.
- Each Tournament must have its own Home Page that can easily be accessed by any member of Stan's NetChess
- Each Tournament must have an obvious and easy to use mechanism for players to make enquiries and sign up for the tournament
- Each tournament must have at least one tournament in the signup phase or one active tournament
- You accept that Stan's NetChess reserves the right to cancel an Associate Tourney at anytime, without cause and without prior notice.
- You agree to be a first line support to players for all games in your tournament.
The instructions for Running Your Own Associate Tourney are documented at www.stansco.com/cgi-bin/nc_publication.cgi?25You need to initiate the process as requested by sending an email to Stan Steliga at stan@stansco.com including the following information: The instructions are reiterated on the page listing the Associate Tourneys. P.S. If you view Stan's profile here, you can send a message directly for Stan using the "Send Message" button on that page, instead of posting publically on the board. Note that neither personal messages using this method nor a post to a public message thread on this board are actual "e-mail". Please feel free to send me a personal message letting me know any ideas you may have that you feel might benefit me in writing more clearly and effectively, as it appears that I have not succeeded in getting you this information on my prior attempts. Thank you for your time, and I appreciate your efforts in getting the tournament started and officially recognized. Sincerely, Comet
