2006 Site Championship Update

Just a quick update on the site 2006 championship:

At this point Nobodyspawn is leading the tournament with 8 pts from 11 games, and still one game to play.

The only person with a realistic chance to catch him is Wolf with 7 pts from 10 games, with 2 to play. The last game of Nobodyspawn is against Wolf. If this game ends in a draw then Nobodyspawn will almost certainly be the site champion. If Wolf wins the game then as long as Wolf can get a draw in his other unfinished game he will be the champion. So the tournament reallyt hinges on the result in the game between Wolf and Nobodyspawn.

Sisyfos has 5.5 points from 9 games and could theoretically get 8.5 points. But this will be difficult and at best it would be a share of the championship with either Wolf or Nobodyspawn, one of which will end up with at least 8.5 points.

There has been a few more completed games and the Championship really comes down to this game between Nobodyspawn and Wolf:

If its a draw or a win for nobodyspawn the Nobodypawn becomes the new site champion. If Wolf wins the game then he will remain the site champion (because even if he loses his one other game in progress he would have the same number of points as Nobodyspawn)

With the game between Wolf and Savin about to end in a draw I think we can finally Crown Nobodyspawn as the new Site Champion.

Congrats to Nobodyspawn. The previous Champion Wolf will probably end up in second so congrats to Wolf on another well played tourney!!!
