I found that that I have not been receiving e-mails sent to webmaster@stansco.com and netchess_webmaster@stansco.com over the past few weeks.
It was a problem with my e-mail system. I was not aware of the problem until this morning.
I feel terrible about this, because it had a huge impact on the whole freebird issue. I apologize to everyone.
The problem is fixed now.

Stan,
Was stan@stansco.com unaffected?

Yes - I was getting those - but if you have sent something to me that I haven't replied to, then resend it please.
Maybe you could send me a test e-mail Reyn? If you don't mind, send three e-mails - one to each of these addresses: stan@stansco.com webmaster@stansco.com netchess_webmaster@stansco.com

Okay, done.
Question: Why 3 email addresses? Wouldn't it simplify contact if you just used one? Perhaps the stan@stansco.com?

Let me know if the tests were successful.

I received all three.
Yes - I wish I had just gone with one e-mail now, but 8 years ago when this all started it seemed like most sites were using a "webmaster" address, so I did too.
Thanks for sending the tests.

I don't know if this is a workable suggestion or not, but if you didn't want to eliminate 2 of the addresses, couldn't you have the emails forwarded onto the one you wanted to use?
Does the program you are using allow you to do that?

I get all of the messages in the same program. It's all set now, and it should not happen again. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
