I have no way to prove that the game had been on your list, but I haven't had any indications that some games aren't showing in players lists.
My logs show that you last moved in that game on May 28th, and your opponent moved on the 29th. Then the game forfeited on June 29th. I see that you have some games now that are close to forfeiting if you don't move soon.
I think you might have just missed that the game was so close to it's forfeit time. I'm sorry, but I think the forfeit is going to have to stay.

Sorry Freebird that you felt you had to resign all your games (16 against me!). You are a very tough opponent, and I hope you start playing again soon.

I don't understand that reply scarecrow. I guess I should just undo any forfeit whenever a subscriber asks for it? What do you think the fallout from that would be? I don't think I implied he was an idiot or a liar in any way.
I looked at the situation. He had at least one 30-day f/t game that was right on the verge of forfeiting. I don't think I was out of line suggesting that he might have missed a game.
I'm sorry if you think I was out of line here. I'm just trying to do the right thing for the site.

In all my years here, I have never, and I mean never, seen a problem with the system automatically handling forfeits. Never an error.
In my opinion, Stan replied correctly. You can't make special exceptions for anyone, whether they're a subscriber or not.

I never saw any emails about this. I reply to every email I receive. I don't know why I didn't get the emails.
I never intended to called you a liar Terry. I'm sorry you felt I was implying that.

What a very strange situation!
Stan, I don't see that you could have done this any different.
What's actually happened here; a guy who is a d**n good chess player has had a game forfeit against him. What's the big deal? Stan can't reverse that, he's looked into the audit trail and it would appear it had been Terry's move. Logic suggests he must have missed it.
But even if he didn't, we are all adults aren't we? Does the forfeit of one game REALLY warrant all toys being thrown out of the pram, resigning from every other game the guy has and flouncing off to another site?
All seems a bit unnecessary to me.

It would have happened sooner or later that the gentleman left the site angry.
My suggestion would be to have a message board section specifically to ask Stan a question (as e-mails do not always arrive for a variety of reasons) and have Stan be the only one who replies.
As it is, if a player asks Stan a question he will get answers from whoever is reading the message board and some guys feel they should answer every question or give their own opinion on every post, when the question is clearly meant for Stan.
I believe this just causes more problems and deters people from posting at all.

You're right John - I don't answer all of the messages where you tell me to "get busy with my sexy wife", and all of your other abusive messages I don't answer, but everything else I do repy to.
Your request to remove your picture was not an e-mail. It was a message here at the message board and you deleted it along with a bunch of other messages before I could do it, so I thought you changed your mind - not that you care about facts or reality.
Everybody knows that I did not avoid FreeBirds question.
There - you must be so excited... you got someone to waste their time talking to you.

Stan,
There must be some days when you've got to wonder if it's even worth while having a message board here.
