First of all, I'm finding the Game Notes feature more and more valuable as time goes on. I used to use it only sporadically in the past, but lately much more frequently.
I've found that, for my use anyways, the 2000 byte storage is more than generous. So long one keeps one eye on how much room you've used, than all is well.
A couple of things I'd like to ask about the Notes though:
1) The "Clear This Page" function doesn't seem to work as it's supposed to. The only way to clear seems to be by right clicking, select all, and deleting. What's up with this?
2) Is it possible to be able to have the page remember it's position once you close it? Perhaps by having a cookie enabled in it or something? I like to have my Game Notes in a certain position on the right side of the board, and not the left side which is where it defaults. Any ideas?

Reyn -
That "Clear this page" thing was intended to allow you to clear the page without closing the window - so nobody that could see your machine could see your notes. To be honest, I don't really see why I did that (it was 6 years ago).
There is no easy way for me to save the last size you used. There might be some things I can do with javascript. That is something I have been wanting to look into for quite a while now. There are a few pages that I would like you to be able to set to a custom size.

To be honest, I don't really see why I did that (it was 6 years ago). When you click that feature, all that happens is that the whole screen goes green and says "You can close this window". It doesn't save or clear anything in the notes. Maybe you could put the Game Notes feature on your "to do" list down the road to enhance? It's a great little thing and I'm sure you could do more with it.

I remember now...
The "Clear this page" thing is for when the note is being shown in your Subscriber Control Panel. In that case you cannot just close the window. It's just a way to blank out the page so the note is not left there for someone to see on your screen.

Oh, okay, thanks. I hadn't been using the control panel.
So, can you put that enhancement on your "to do" list? I know it's a very long list, but, hey, one day. ;D

You would think that for someone like me who's been on this site for so many years that you'd know everything about it, right? Well, apparently not. I just found out that one can adjust the size of the Games Notes window itself. It never dawned on me to check "Options" in the Subscriber Control Panel. ------------------------------------------------------------- Stan, if I could make a small suggestion, how about adding the fact that the window can be adjusted in the Game Notes Help page?

OK - I added a comment about that feature in the Help Page.
