Below is a list of players who meet the following conditions:

1) They have moved at the site in the last 2 weeks
2) They have played games against provisional players
3) We have only looked at games started in the last 6 months that have already finished
4) We have only shown the top-40 players from the point of view of most games meeting 3) above
5) We have considered a player as "provisional" based on the new rating system.

Yes its possible to make this available --- but we would need to do it a different way to kae it automatic. I did this as a one-off. So the first thing to decide is what do you really want..

My thought is that you would want the following:

1) For all active established players
2) Who have current games against provisional players
3) Produce a list of the top 50 players ranked from high to low based on the number of active games them have against provisional players

Would this be correct? e need to get this right because Stan will need to build an extract file for this. It will be updated once a week with the ratings.

Ideally:

1) Yes

2) The established player need not necessarily be playing any current games against unrated /provisional players, but they should definitely be active.

3) The top 50 sounds fine. Again, the games don't have to be current, but the established player must be.

Will the above work okay?

I suppose you could add an additional column for those active established players who have current games against provisional players, but this, to me, is not so important.

If there's a problem with the above, just let me know.

I think the report would be a bit more useful if its based on a more current view of the player. In addition, we don't really have any stats on the status of the player when the game was started, just their current status. How about this:

1) Only for active established players
2) Shows the number of games the player has active against players who are still provisional
3) Shows the number of games completed in the last 12 months against players who are still provisional.

There are two steps to this. First is Stan's needs to build an extract file program. We then need to connect it to the new rating system (so that it gets created).

This means the report will get updated once per week.

Then I need to design the report. I will probably use one of the new summary reports as a basis.
