Can you spot what's wrong with this game?

White should have a black square under the left rook.
So, what's my prize? ;-)

Yes! Absolutely right!
It's the old saying, "square on the lower right, must be white (or light)".
Your prize is that you were the FIRST and only guess (and not afraid to be wrong ;D).
If you look at the board at the extreme right, you can see that it is set up right.

In my opinion, I don't think so.
There's a black square in the lower left corner. So, that would mean there's a white square in the lower right side.
There are 2 black pieces outside the board appearing as if they are captured pieces. It would appear as that side of the board is the "white side", which is consistent to the 2 white pieces that you can see on the left-hand side of the board.

Look where the red arrow is pointing. It is definitely a black square.

believe you're right, reyn. there seems to be a white pawn on the edge of the board. it can't be on the first rank, since pawns don't move backward, and it's not on the eighth rank, since it hasn't promoted. so, the pawn must be at a3 or h6, and the board is setup properly.

Thanks, Ian. It also looks like the white king is next to that pawn. Chances are as well that it hasn't gone for a walk to the other side of the board.
I suspect the 2 black pieces seen sitting outside of the board have been captured by white. So, that fits in with the scenario.

John, it's okay. No big deal. It was just a fun little thing that I thought would amuse a few people, and not intended to irritate.
