Stan has addressed this issue before.
He does not delete old accounts, even if the player is deceased. It has to do with the Games History.

Reyn is right - I cannot delete any accounts, but we have been talking about making the Players directory more friendly by only including people that have been active over the past X months. Another thing on my list.

I can definitely see that as being a very useful tool, although I would agree that it would have low priority. Would be a good "subscriber-only" feature.

Stan needs to think about doing what a lot of other sites do. Allow only two accounts per email address.

The thing is... it is so easy to get any number of e-mail accounts it just wouldn't matter. If someone wants to create multiple accounts, there really is no way to stop them.

I just tried it and it seems ok... I don't know if Savin made a change or if your browser is having trouble. Can you check it again Wookie and if you are still seeing an error, please tell me: 1) What Browser are you using (Internet Explorer, Netscape...)? 2) What error or problem are you seeing?
Thanks

Wookie,
Sorry for the problem. As Stan said, lets us know the browser you are using and the version if possible. I tested with NetScape, Firefox and Explorer -- but not every version. I was having a problem with a particular version of Opera at one time -- it turned out to be a bug in Opera. But I think that bug was corrected about 18 months ago (However, if you are using Opera you may want to get a later version if possible -- Opera went through a bad spell in 2003-2004)

Thanks for letting us know. There is a delay with that page loading because of the large amount of data. Maybe that had something to do with your initial issue.
