that's right WHY??? consider the fact that all he wants is an easy win He can't play anybody stronger that's one of his weakness second he always has white another weakness he can't play with black and yet some of you players should think twice Don't play him!!! he plays opponents which are low in rating compared to his Think! before you accept!!

One purpose of this site is for players to have fun; if bluestuff370 only chooses to send challenges to lower-rated players, I don't see what's wrong with that.

I accept challenges from stronger players, even those who would undoubtedly trounce me.

I enjoy playing chess. And I also play other players, with whom I have a chance of winning.
So it doesn't bother me if I lose some games.

I think the question might be "Why are you so upset with him?" He has the right to play who he wants to play with whatever color he wants. Why do you feel it is so important to trash him publicly? What has he done to you? If your just trashing him because he won't play with black or because he choses to play lower rated players then you owe him a public apology. Asking other players not to play him because you don't like him or the way he choses to play is not right.

Me give him an apology the answer to that is NO! yes he does have the right to play whatever But! rating- wise if I were him I rather play stronger players than weak besides playing stronger players or around his rating would help him improve,learn from mistakes if any also his last win he got only 2pts Wow! that's nothing because he played somebody lower you don't learn much and me playing him forget it played him many times on here and in person he's not good at all

What makes you any different then him? Should we treat you the same way you are treating him? It sounds like you have a personal problem with this guy. The problem is you decided to make your personal problem with him public requesting all players not to play him because you don't like the way he does or does not do things. I checked your page and all 3 active games are with white. Your last 20 games only 4 were with black. This means you prefer to play with white. Should I criticize you for that? Should I ask all the players on Stan's not to play you? I think all the players on Stan's should consider whether or not they should play you. I believe you did the wrong thing mikewitek by going public with your disdain for bluestuff370. I think you might find that more people dislike you then him. As a fellow New Yorker, I was born there, any time you want to duel or take your aggressions out you can challenge me. I'm your huckleberry!

For your info I play with both colors and furthermore I give up on Bluestuff370 let him do his games the "dumb" way I'm way better than him! His rating means nothing to me!!

Agree with easytiger. It does not make any sense because the player decides if she or he like to play and with which color. In OTB you play automatically with both and here you can pick your own favorites. All the energy you spill about these players can you use for own game profits.
So drop it, play chess and use your energy to play good games against tough opponents.

I would challenge him, but he takes no challengers, as is his right. This site imposes no condition on any non-tournament player to ever take black, or to accept any challenge or give any challenge to anyone not of one's own choosing. I think it is interesting that bluestuff370 always plays white, because, personally, my own choice of opponents and color are motivated by the reasoning that you listed. However, I respect that other people have other motivations. I think it is easy to answer the question you posed in the thread topic, "why do some players play against bluestuff370"? The answer would be that they play in order to enjoy a game of chess, and the terms of the chess match are mutually agreeable between the two players involved.

I do think that your urging people not to play against bluestuff370, as you have a different philosophy of color choice and opponent choice, is an unwise action. Why do you begrudge bluestuff370 his playing choices of being white and playing weaker players? Why do you feel affronted by somebody who doesn't share your values of being black occasionally? Why do you rail against somebody who plays chess for fun, rather than self-improvement (per your judgement)?
