Topless saleswomen are legal in Liverpool, England, but only in tropical fish stores Where is this store in Liverpool??? I lived in Liverpool for over 15 years and never heard or came accross this shop. Maybe the quote doesn't mean that there is a particular shop, just that is legal only in tropical fish stores.

Call me a wet blanket, but I say GOOD! A couple of times every year we have people setting off fireworks in my neighborhood and I worry that they're going to burn my house down every time. I don't like them at all. I wish people would just leave them to the experts.

Random Funny FactsThe Average American drinks about 600 sodas per year. Take me out of the mix and that average drops way down... I drink about 15 sodas a day. That means I drink 600 every 40 days! That's 5,475 per year!!! Wow - I never calulated that out before. Keeps the pipes clean!

One legged fireman back at work
A Worcestershire fireman is back at work - after losing a leg in a motorcycle accident.
Simon Hawkins is back in uniform after bosses gave him the all clear to drive, climb ladders and fight blazes, reports the Mirror.
Simon, 31, said: "At first I honestly felt as though my life was over. I'd cry myself to sleep and wake up still sobbing.
"I had always wanted to be a firefighter like my grandfather. After my accident I was not a very nice person to live with. I just moped about."
But then his partner Annie found an internet site about an American fireman named Bill Henry who returned to duty after losing a leg.
Simon, who had been forced to quit the fire service after 11 years, travelled to America to meet Bill and was inspired to follow his example.
Simon's family and friends raised £20,000 to buy him a fireproof false limb like Bill's.
He began training with the false leg and exercised until he was fit enough to meet fire service entry requirements. When he returned to work he was given admin and community duties at first.
Eventually bosses assessed him for a return to front-line duty and he passed.
Simon, of Bromsgrove, added: "I'm just a normal person, not superhuman. I've been able to do this because I've had great support and a positive attitude."

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Reuters) - An elderly man spent at least three days in his vehicle on the side of a busy Canadian highway before anyone - including police who checked the car's license plate - realized he was dead.
A passing motorist discovered the man's body after deciding to check the vintage-model car on the Trans-Canada Highway near Abbotsford, British Columbia, on Sunday to see if it was for sale.
The car's license number was checked by passing police on Friday and Saturday to make sure it was not stolen, but the officers apparently did not stop to inspect it because it was not impeding traffic.
Officials believe the 75-year-old man became ill and pulled off to the side of highway, which is used by hundreds of Vancouver-area motorists each day. They say he then probably slumped down in his seat and died.
"A lot of people drove past that vehicle. It's just unfortunate that it took the circumstances that it did to find the gentleman," said Constable Steve Hiscoe of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
The man's dog was also in the vehicle, but survived the ordeal unharmed.
